The new 468MG Hydrostatic ball head range is an important step forward in reducing weight and size of professional photographic supports, while improving their strength and unshakeable robustness. The 468MG is also the most technically advanced photographic head family of heads in the Manfrotto range, using a completely new ball locking mechanism based on hydrostatic action in which an internal chamber containing a special oil is put under pressure to block movement of the ball; because the force exerted by the liquid is more constant and evenly distributed than that of standard mechanisms, the locking power is dramatically improved.
